Whitney Athayde

As a Senior Managing Consultant at AmPhil, Whitney Athayde helps clients develop and implement donor fundraising strategies, emphasizing consistent outreach, diverse revenue sources, and meaningful donor connections

Prior to joining AmPhil, Whitney was a freelance fundraising consultant specializing in grant writing and direct mail. She has also been the Director of Development for Independent Women’s Forum and a popular journal, where she managed all fundraising and events. She got her start fundraising as an undergraduate, calling alumna to ask for donations and raising $250,000 over three years.

Whitney is a graduate of the University of Virginia and has a Masters in Public Policy from George Mason University. She lives on a hobby farm in Charlottesville, Virginia with her husband, two sons, two daughters, dog, two cats, nine goats, a dairy cow, and (at the time of this writing) 39 chickens.
