Rachael Waechter
Project Manager
Rachael Waechter is a Project Manager for AmPhil’s Phoenix office. She helps AmPhil’s clients conquer the day-to-day challenges of development operations. Rachael has extensive professional writing experience that spans from grant writing to ghostwriting and from email solicitation copywriting to direct mail creation and management. She loves helping clients refresh their messaging and use new written materials to pursue prospects and upgrade their donors.
Before coming to AmPhil, Rachael was appointed by the Trump Administration to the U.S. Secretary of Defense’s protocol office, where she organized meetings and wrote remarks for the Secretary of Defense. Prior to entering the Pentagon, she worked as the research assistant at the Heritage Foundation’s Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom, where she coordinated meetings and events for foreign ambassadors and national leaders. Her European and Arctic policy research has been published numerous times in the Daily Signal. She was also a Heritage Foundation 2020 Speechwriting Fellow.
Rachael is a proud graduate of Hillsdale College, where she studied History, Rhetoric and Public Address, and Spanish. Rachael currently lives in Hillsdale, Michigan with her husband and daughter. She currently serves as the Alumni Advisory Board Chair for her women’s fraternity, Pi Beta Phi. Rachael is also a published, award-winning novelist.
