John LaBarbara
CHIEF CONSULTING OFFICER
As a Chief Consulting Officer with AmPhil, John LaBarbara oversees consulting groups and their efforts to partner in our clients’ missions. He and his division help our clients plan and execute proven strategies and methods to grow capacity, empowering them to reach their most ambitious and transformational mission goals.
John is the Founding Principal of the Center for Advanced Leadership Consulting, and has served as the Vice President of Operations for FOCUS, the Chief Operating Officer of the Augustine Institute, the interim COO for both Endow and the Catholic Psychotherapy Association, a Field Director for Prison Fellowship, and the Director of Advancement Operations for Benedictine College. Prior to that John worked for over twenty years in leadership roles in the corporate world, specializing in acquisitions, turnarounds, and leadership development.
John graduated summa cum laude from Simpson University and then studied New Testament Greek at Fuller Seminary. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Angela, and together they have five adult children and four grandchildren. John and Angela reside in Atchison, KS.
