Evan Woolsoncroft

 Overview

Evan Woolsoncroft is a Vice President at AmPhil, where he advises nonprofit clients on building and sustaining high-performing fundraising programs, with particular emphasis on strategic planning, major gift cultivation, and capital campaign execution. With over thirteen years of frontline fundraising experience, Evan supports clients across Texas, nationally, and internationally, helping organizations raise more than $200 million to advance their missions.

Evan’s Story

A strategic and relationship-driven leader, Evan combines deep fundraising expertise with a hands-on approach, making him a true partner to AmPhil’s clients. Before joining AmPhil in 2024, he served as the Vice President of Philanthropy at Heroic Media and as a Major Gifts Officer at FOCUS, where he built and expanded donor programs, managed a growing major gifts portfolio, and developed fundraising strategies that advanced each organization’s mission.

Evan’s experience spanning major gifts, direct mail, planned giving, and training has given him a particular passion for equipping nonprofits to scale their fundraising with clarity and confidence. Over the course of his career, he has helped organizations strengthen donor relationships, build sustainable giving programs, and faithfully pursue the missions they were founded to advance.

A graduate of Kansas State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Evan also holds an MBA with a concentration in Catholic Philanthropy from the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. He now lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with his wife and five children. You can often find him camping, hunting, exploring Middle-earth with his kids, or deep in a competitive board game.
