Austin Detwiler

As a senior director, Austin Detwiler helps AmPhil’s clients advance their missions by clarifying their goals and messaging, developing successful fundraising strategies, and executing on those strategies to better serve donors and grow their organization.

Before coming to AmPhil, Austin was the assistant director of the Matthew J. Ryan Center at Villanova University, as well as an adjunct professor in Villanova’s Augustine and Culture Seminar Program. Austin began his career in the nonprofit world teaching and serving as director of operations at a small school.

Austin has a master’s degree in theology from Villanova University and bachelor’s in Philosophy and Political Theory from the Templeton Honors College. He previously served on the board of Martin Saints Classical Academy and helped to found the Philadelphia Catholic Scholars Program. He currently serves on the board of the Charlotte Mason Educational Center. Austin and his wife have four sons and live in West Conshohocken, PA, where they try to spend as much time outside as possible.
