Kristen Brown

As a Senior Consultant at AmPhil, Kristen helps clients both think strategically about their development operation’s needs and execute plans that will harness existing opportunities. She especially enjoys planning and directing capital campaigns.

Before coming to AmPhil, Kristen served as a press assistant for a U.S. Senator, a district field director for the Congressional Leadership Fund, and a legislative affairs fellow for a former governor of Illinois. In these positions, she gained experience in targeted messaging and writing, personnel management, office organization, and media relations.

Kristen graduated from Wheaton College in Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in political science. She and her husband live in northwest Illinois. In her free time, she enjoys making memories with her family at the lake and watching football.
