John Huynh

As Associate Director at AmPhil’s Denver office, John Huynh leads client engagements with a focus on strategic planning, coaching, messaging, major gifts, and capital campaigns. He collaborates with clients to identify and exceed their goals, driving growth and strengthening donor relationships.

John’s career in the nonprofit sector includes roles in fundraising, teaching, and mentoring, with positions at institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Boston University, where he worked through his role at FOCUS, as well as at Portsmouth Abbey School. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration and Marketing from Washington State University and an M.A. in Theology and Ministry from Boston College. Additionally, John has served on the board of the College Success Foundation, where he helped award $12M in scholarships.
Based in Littleton, CO, John enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, biking, and staying active in his community.
