Erin Kondak

 Overview

As a Managing Data & Technology Consultant at AmPhil, Erin advises clients on their technology infrastructure and fundraising databases. She partners with clients to optimize their current systems or implement new ones: she has led dozens of organizations through the change management and data migration required to implement a new database. In some of the most complex projects she has led, she has migrated millions of records to new systems, highly customizing the migration to fit the organizational needs and enable successful fundraising. She is a certified administrator for both Salesforce and Virtuous CRM and is skilled with a variety of other platforms and integration tools.  

Erin’s Story

Before joining AmPhil, Erin worked in the nonprofit realm, coaching over 1,000 pregnancy centers across the U.S. on best practices for data management and reporting. The belief that data tells powerful stories led her to drive the collection and analysis of data from pregnancy centers. This data was featured in multiple published national reports, one of which was used in an amicus brief for the Supreme Court.

Erin’s experience working with nonprofits has driven her to develop ways for nonprofits to leverage technology for their operations instead of being hindered by it. She is passionate about letting greater principles ground the use of technology and data within nonprofits. She believes that tools and systems are not an end in themselves but are a means to greater purposes – things like relationship building, organizational planning, meaningful insights, and ultimately, accomplishing the organization’s mission. 

Erin holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics & Business Analytics from Patrick Henry College in Purcellville, VA. She currently lives in Alexandria, where she spends her time trying new restaurants, enjoying the outdoors with her dog, Bean, and volunteering as the Deaconess of Finance at her local church.
