Overview Boaz Witbeck is a Managing Consultant at AmPhil, where he advises current and future clients on how to grow and lead their organizations, with an emphasis on strategic planning, building and sustaining major gifts programs, and leveling up fundraising systems. He previously served as a Senior Consultant and engagement lead for over 20 nonprofit clients, helping execute fundraising strategies to grow their missions and deepen relationships with their donors.

Boaz’s Story

An engaging and earnest leader, Boaz combines a strategic mindset with warm-hearted compassion to serve as a dedicated, in-the-trenches partner for his clients. Before joining AmPhil in 2021, he spent six years with Americans for Prosperity and the Americans for Prosperity Foundation, where he served as the Deputy State Director for the Arizona chapter. His impactful work in grassroots policy leadership earned him the Arizona Capitol Times’ “Breakdown Breakout” award in 2020.

Boaz’s experience in both the policy and nonprofit sectors has given him a deep appreciation for the power of clear messaging and robust donor acquisition. He is particularly passionate about partnering with faith-based, educational, and public policy organizations to implement sustainable fundraising strategies that allow their missions to flourish. This commitment to mission-driven work extends to his community involvement; he currently serves on the board of Arrows Christian Academy—a private K-12 school in Tempe dedicated to serving students with learning disabilities—as a member of the Board of Advisors for Faithful Presence, and as an Ambassador for the Phoenix Rescue Mission.

As a lifelong learner, Boaz holds a B.S. in Political Science and Economics from Arizona State University’s Barrett Honors College, an M.P.A. from Arizona State, and an M.A. in Christian Apologetics from Biola University. Boaz lives in Gilbert, Arizona, where he enjoys challenging hiking trails and spending time at home with his wife, daughter, and his extroverted cat.
