Alice Nye is a Managing Consultant at AmPhil who helps nonprofits and mission-driven businesses to increase revenue and multiply impact. She specializes in major gift development, strategic planning, direct response, and capital campaign management. Alice has partnered with leaders across religious, human services, and public policy sectors, guiding emerging startups to major national institutions.
Alice’s Story:
Alice is an exceptionally organized self-starter and problem solver known for bringing order, clarity, and strategic wisdom to complex engagements.
Before joining AmPhil in 2022, she founded a boutique fundraising consultancy and held development roles with national organizations, including Stand Together and the American Veterans Center. Combining strategic thinking with technical literacy, she led CRM infrastructure projects that streamlined operations and supported service rollouts to manage to an opportunity pipeline of $2.1 billion.
With a multichannel background in both the analytical and creative sides of fundraising, Alice excels at helping clients optimize their systems, build resilient donor pipelines, and execute growth strategies.
She holds dual honors degrees in Public Policy Leadership and Integrated Marketing Communications from the University of Mississippi, where her research on social entrepreneurship led her to remote communities in central Mexico. Active in her local community, Alice serves on the board of Meals on Wheels, teaches Sunday school, and volunteers at her local food pantry. She lives in Charleston, South Carolina, with her husband and young family, and enjoys painting watercolors, playing tennis, and teaching barre fitness classes.
